The company was founded in 2015 as way to express creativity through the art of jewellery. The passion was always to express confidence through jewellery pieces that are unique and has sentimental story behind its creation or use. Starting out as a retailer of 2nd hand pieces, the main aim was to be able to present high quality products for decent prices. As the company grew, its community of loyal clients grew and with a reputation to meet high quality and form long lasting bonds with our customers. The journey of DSJ has led to the development of in-house manufacturing and sourcing of materials to ensure the highest positble quality of our products. Each piece is locally made in South Africa sourcing material from reputable local bullions. Other products such as luxury watches are sourced by authorised dealers to ensure quality pieces with gaurantee to the public.
Our Process
1) Design Creation
The process starts with the selection of a design to be created with all specific details related to the piece in terms of specification of metal and precious stones to be used.
2) Jewellery Casting or Crafting
A mould is created to cast the jewellery in the specific metal being gold or silver. All parts required is casted or depending on the design, is crafted by hand by one of our expert jewellers.
3) Finishing
Each piece is finished to perfection with precision tools to ensure the cleanest finish to our high class jewellery
4) Diamond Setting
Each piece is individually set by hand by a experinenced setter to ensure precision and high quality jewellery pieces.
5) Cleaning and Polishing
Before the pieces are finalised, each item is cleaned and polished to provide a spectacular lustre and shine to represent our name.
6) Packaging
The packaging used for the pieces are sustainably sourced and equiped to protect and show off your beautifully crafted piece.
